Chipmunks is a pilot program for ages 4 and 5. A Scurry pays nothing: no trial, no card, no upgrade. It gets the Basecamp tools that fit it, including parent messaging, the weekly schedule, the parent role rota and the sticker book.
We never charge for the features that keep Scouts safe or your records private.
No. Each plan is one flat price for the whole unit, however many Scouts and adults you have.
Your unit moves to Basecamp. Nothing is deleted and nobody is locked out. Paid features show an upgrade option instead.
Plans are billed once a year, in step with your unit budget and recharter.
The first 100 units to subscribe pay $79 a year for Summit or $149 a year for Peak, for as long as they stay subscribed. If the subscription ends, the founding price ends with it.
Summit includes 100 and Peak 300 a year, for urgent updates to adults who opted in. If you need more, a pack of 500 more texts is $10. When you run out, messages go by email instead.
Nothing. A Scurry is free, with no trial and no card needed. Scouting America Chipmunks is a pilot program for ages 4 and 5, and a Scurry gets the Basecamp tools that fit it. If your Scurry is outside the pilot councils, check with your council first.
Multi-unit management and commissioner tools come with a council license, sold separately. Contact us.
Yes. MySummitKeep is built on Microsoft Azure. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, each unit is isolated from every other unit, and sensitive actions are recorded in a tamper-evident audit trail.
No. MySummitKeep is an independent platform built by Scout leaders for Scout leaders. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Scouting America (formerly the Boy Scouts of America).
